It’s Lambing at Woolly Thyme!

Standard

Hello and happy Tuesday!

I have new crochet projects that I cannot show you! O.o

I am waiting on the post to deliver one as a gift…
And the other is waiting for models. 🙂 The babies are napping and I simply must include them in the photos, so, perhaps next week.

Here is a sneak peek at their birthday gifts:

I have sooo enjoyed that project. I look forward to the big reveal!

In the meantime, we had a very special outing this past Thursday, visiting a college friend of my brother’s…taking his kids, and my kids, and grandma, and meeting their kids and well, …it was just a lot of kids! We had pizza and brownies and the very nicest time anyone could ask for.

First was pizza in the barn! The haybale doubled quite nicely as a serving table …and even a chair.

Checking out the cows…

Then onto the sheep!

And the baby lambs…the children got to hold them!

While the adults were fed, we got to see the babies run and play! They only do that at feeding time, he said, since there is so much more room with the adults out of the way.

They were so sweet, jumping and skipping about!
Then we toured the pens with the day-old lambs…and the bottle-fed babies.
Of course we wanted to help. 🙂

The smart ones that didn’t need hand-feeding had this handy bucket contraption for dinner time:

Even grandma held one! And my brother joined us after his work.

We also met a handsome llama, and a horse named Mikey.

I think we had eleven children, between the three of us! The more the merrier. ❤
Such precious moments.

We had the best time.

I love the simple things: friends, family, and aa roomful of kids that adore animals. What a perfect time to visit a lamb farm, too, just before Easter weekend.

He is risen! Indeed.
