Edging the Sweetheart


It’s been a busy week! Several orders come due. Here’s a peek at a major accomplishment: the Sweetheart Reversible Ripple is finished!

It measures about 40×40 inches, or a little over three feet square. The heart motif on the back doubles the thickness, making it nice and heavy.



Now a fun decision…to edge, or not to edge? The sides came out pretty straight, thankfully, but a border opens a world of possibilities and can make or break a blanket’s look.

Here are my top three choices– stripe with picot, lace, or rope-look reverse crochet:


I’ll let the customer choose. 🙂
