The Perfect Newsboy

Standard

Like most artists worth their salt, I can be a bit, well…picky.

Nothing worse than using the wrong color in a project and it throws the whole thing off. Or that row of stitches that make it go from WOW to ewwwww, or the wrong kind of yarn…or hook…that takes it from awesome to outdated in a minute.

I tried a couple patterns for the cute newsboy caps that have popped up all over the web, and while a baby looks adorable in just about anything, it takes a design with a bit more finesse, and a really good yarn, to make a hat an adult would actually wear.

So when I say I love this pattern from Bernat, I really mean it. It has been surpassed only by the headwraps for sales these last few months and the yarn, oh, I love this yarn. I accidentally made one with lion brand bulky, and it just didn’t come out the same. šŸ™‚
